This product does what it says it does...moves save data back and forth from the PS3 hard drive to the PS2/PS1 memory card adaptors. Useful if you still have and use a PS2 in another room, or (like I do) keep it next to the PS3 for games that the PS3 runs into an issue with (I'm looking at you, Knights of the Round in FF7).

Overall, you could probably get this used and not run into an issue, or just get one among two or three people, as it isn't likely to be used often.
